industrial-iconINDUSTRIAL DESIGN

Industrial design for the additive manufacturing process is a pretty new concept, and as such most industrial designers will be a little overwhelmed with what is required to produce a workable concept at this level. Here at ADC our industrial design process involves everyone from the get go, including our product engineers and analysis specialists. This way we ensure the concepts we are generating are not just a pretty picture for the sales team.

design-iconPRODUCT DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT

At ADC we have the expertise to support your product from the very concept stage right through to production drawings and manufacture.

Our engineering team can develop your idea into a working concept, then ensure it is designed successfully into a working, proven product. We can support your business at any point of the design process, or throughout if required. Our engineering staff will always create fully constrained and meaningful models, and complete drawings sets.

analysis-iconANALYSIS

The core advantage of AM is to reduce material in order to still maintain the physical strength requirements. Therefore FEA is a critical process of the design. It is paramount FEA is conducted at the same time as the mechanical design of the part/product. Thus here at ADC we use analysis concurrently.

We also have in house thermal, vibration and shock analysis expertise as this is often another fundamental design requirement of components in these areas.

prototype-iconPROTOTYPE BUILD

Our close relationship with the additive manufacturing producers will ensure your prototypes are well matured, even before they are built. We have unrivalled access to the largest AM producers to bring the technology successfully to the mainstream.

manufacturing-iconMANUFACTURING SUPPORT

Our engineers work closely with the manufacturers to ensure designs are fit for their manufacturing purpose, whether it be small scale manufacturing of less than 100 parts, or many thousands. Our partnerships with some of the largest multinational organisations in the AM business ensure we can provide you with the very best knowledge and expertise. Their size, allows you to get the very best price for your produced part, as they have economies of scale and the latest, fastest equipment to provide the very best value and quality.
